ONE POT PORK CHOP DELIGHT
Ingredients: This is a dish that has no set quantities, it goes by the size of your family and what they like the most.
Pork Chops (1/2 inch or less) Potato's Carrots Canned or Frozen Peas Onion Garlic(powdered or fresh) Tomato Soup (if making more than 4 chops use 2 cans of soup) Butter Salt and Pepper
In a covered baking pan (old fashioned enamel if you have it)place the pork chops, slice one large onion, salt and pepper, and cut up two cloves of garlic, cover with water. Bake at 375 for 1/2 hour, turn the chops over, be sure there is still enough water so that they don't burn, and bake for an additional 1/2 hour.
In the meantime, peel the potatoes, leave in large pieces, peel carrots and cut in 1/2 inch slices.
When the meat is done, add the potatoes, carrots and a can of Tomato soup (do not dilute) cover and cook until vegetables are cooked (about 1/2 hour more) then add the peas and generous pieces of butter, cover and let stand in the oven for 15 minutes. Serve with hot bread and butter and a side salad. Enjoy!
